We would like to wish everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR and let you know what to expect from us in this upcoming year! There will be a new album out. We were hoping to be done with it by now, but it seems like we've hit one road block after another. We are now scheduling the studio time and getting the ball rolling, so keep your eyes open for it. We are extremely proud of and excited about this project, and hope it will exceed all of your expectations.

Today we uploaded two videos onto www.youtube.com and are erging everyone to give them a listen. We recorded our set at the annual 2009 WEBN Fireworks on 09/06/09 on the lower serpentine wall stage. We posted "Relapse" and a cover of Metallica's 1984 classic "Creeping Death." Just search Decadent Roots, check em out, and let us know what you think. Keith McGeorge, a close friend of the band, is currently dealing with the tragic loss of his father Kenneth. To add to this difficult time, he cannot afford to give his father a proper burial. Anyone who would like to help can donate money to the Kenneth L. McGeorge Memorial Fund at any Fifth Third Bank. Remember, even the smallest donation can help and will be greatly appreciated. What's goin on everyone? We want to apologize for having to back out of The Boone County Bash, we've been looking forward to this show for so long. Last night Nick, our drummer, broke his ankle at a Hank III concert. Obviously this is keeping him from being able to play. Seeing as the show is in two days, there's not even enough time to find someone to fill in. We'll be sure to make it out to Charleston as soon as we can to put on one intense show for y'all. In the meantime, tear it the fuck up at The Bash! We wish we could.

We would like to thank everyone for coming out last night to The Mad Hatter. We had a great time, and all of you in the crowd kicked some serious ass! We would also like to thank all of the other bands, everyone killed it. Hopefully we'll catch some of y'all in West Virginia on June 20, 2009. It's gonna be one hell of a field party, $5 to attend, and that includes all the beer you can drink! Check it out!
